Hand turned by the highly regarded silversmith Barry Witmond. Made from old seasoned ebony, the handle has been turned into a flattened elliptical shape with three incised grooves around its widest part and a slightly lipped end. The base of the handle terminates in a finely turned raised section with a single incised groove. The main shaft of the stirrer is plain leading to the beautifully ‘gear-cut’ end, which creates the agitation when twisted in the chocolate liquor. Total length : 9.5 inches (24.5 cm).
