Entitled ‘Cleopatra’; copied from the earlier circular bronzed copper plaque designed for Elkington by Thomas Spall 1889, this rectilinear representation in sterling silver is deeply embossed and chased with three Egyptian figures; Cleopatra followed closely by two attendants, one carrying a large fan. Stamped with the Elkington hallmark and signed in script ‘Elkington’. The silver is mounted on an oak panel 12×5 inches.
